PROVINCIAL CONFERENCE ON SCHOOL INCLUSIVE. Teacher training.

P t seems incredible that a reality the famous proverb "At home, the blacksmith, knife stick" is that, though I specialize teacher training did not spend so far no post to this essential requirement for progress towards an inclusive school.

In any case, never too late ... And much less if we refer to PROVINCIAL CONFERENCE ON INCLUSIVE SCHOOL which closed yesterday at the Teacher Center of Seville (6 CEP organized by the province of Seville) and the organization of which I was honored to be heavily involved.
These conferences have met for three days work proposals could be a good showcase of everything that can transform the school.
Let us review:

The first day we Gerardo Echeita (Universidad Autonoma de Madrid) who made us the perfect setting for all things to come: four simultaneous workspaces that addressed the need for self-assessment of educational practices Echeita own hand (via the Index for inclusion); Odet Moliner, Joan Traver Lidón Miller (self-assessment through the combination of different tools); Moriña Anabel (school of diversity: materials for teacher training) and Asunción Moya (Inter guide).
The second day focused on learning communities and who better than Ramon Flecha to make the frame of today?. After Ramon Flecha experiences we have four "communities" of the province of Seville Andalucía CEIP, IES and IES Adriano del Valle García Acosta Sevilla Diamond and White Cross Aznalcóllar CEIP . In addition, Odet Moliner, Joan Miller and Traver Lidón approached us concrete experiences Castellón center walking toward inclusion through review of their practices.
The final day focused attention on the curriculum for an inclusive school. Fernando Trujillo made a superb presentation framework for content of the day and from there, Patricia Gamboa we are picking the project work; Joan Traver us closer to the potential of cooperative learning; Hoyos Moses showed us how to include values \u200b\u200bin the curriculum and Javier Soto we clarified the role of ICT in a school for everyone.
As you can see, a sign of luxury. To all: thanks a million.
But undoubtedly, the great potential of the conference was the teaching assistant.
Approximately 200 professionals that, at the end of the course and after a morning of hard work in the classroom, three evenings devoted to intensive training, knowledge of ways to transform the school. They are the real stars of the conference because it is they who are in their hands the master key to initiate processes of school improvement.
For those who take a step forward, we will be here.

This is the first post without an attachment, but soon, when we make the collection of all materials of the conference, we will put at your disposal.
